81 South Off-Ramp To 481 Toward Dewitt To Close For New Traffic Pattern

Syracuse, N.Y. - State DOT alerting motorist that I 81 southbound off-ramp to Exit 29S to 481 South toward Dewitt will permanently close around 6 p.m on Tuesday, November 4.

There is a new traffic pattern there. Around 12noon Tuesday, November 4, motorists traveling 81 south to 481 south should follow the overhead signs directing traffic to merge using the left two lanes just north of the South Bay Road bridge. This will be the new 81 south in the future.
