5 Arrested For Running Drug Operation Out Of Parkside Commons Apartments

Syracuse, N.Y. - Five men have been busted operating a drug ring out of a Syracuse Apartment complex.

All five are charged with racketeering and drug crimes.

The group, that authorities are calling "The 205 Crew" are accused of running a drug ring out of apartment 205 at Parkside Commons on East Fayette Street, in Syracuse.

They ran their drug business, like a real one, with regular hours for when people could buy drugs. They also disabled security systems, allowing non-residents to enter the building.

Police found, over 3 pounds of cocaine, 900 doses of fentanyl and $80 thousand dollars in cash, One loaded P80 semi-automatic handgun (a ghost gun), 4 walkie talkies and numerous cell phones and drug paraphernalia

Recently a 2 year old child had to be administered NARCAN at that apartment complex.

All five individuals, 25-year-old Julio Franco-Osorio, 42-year-old Jorge Pizarro, 30-year-old Jean Calderon, 31-year-old Jesus Ortiz, and 33-year-old Victor Medina Parilla were arrested and charged with:

-Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree

-Enterprise Corruption

-Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the First Degree

-Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree

-Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree

Julio Franco-Osorio was additionally charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree
