Madison County Sheriff's Office To Hold Training At Old Highway Building

Wampsville, N.Y. - If you travel near the old Madison County Highway building on Court street in Wampsville Tuesday May 13th and Thursday May 14th, don't be alarmed if you see a lot of emergency vehicles.

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office is going to be conducting Reality Based Training, Tuesday and Wednesday from 9am til 9 pm.

North Court Street will not be closed, so there will be no disruption to traffic.

The training includes emergency vehicles, uniformed officers, and simulated gun fire.

Any sounds heard coming from the building will be related to the training, and are being done in a controlled environment.

The public is asked to stay away form the area those two days.
