Syracuse, N.Y. - Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office says they have arrested 12-year-old Kaitlyn Kudla, f Port Byron and she faces multiple charges related to a fatal vehicle crash on November 3rd of 2024.
Deputies say Kudla was driving drunk on West Seneca Turnpike, when she lost control of her vehicle, which rolled over, killing passenger Riley Besner.
Kudla has been charged with the following::
- Aggravated Vehicular Homicide - (Class B Felony)
- Vehicular Manslaughter in the Second Degree - (Class D Felony)
- Assault: Recklessly Causing Serious Injury with a Weapon (Motor Vehicle) - (Class D Felony)
- Operating a Motor Vehicle with a BAC of .08% or Higher (First Offense) - (Unclassified Misdemeanor)
- Reckless Driving - (Unclassified Misdemeanor)
- Moving from Lane Unsafely - (Infraction)
Kudla was arraigned and posted bail.
