Wampsville, N.Y. - Madison County giving kudos to their Highway Department, after the State Comptroller office ranked Madison County in the Top 5 Counties with the lowest percentage of bridges in poor condition.
Madison as of 2023, has 174 bridges of those 115 are maintained by Madison County, only 3 of those are in poor condition. They hope to make that 1 by the end of the current Capital Plan in 2027. They have 59 in Fair condition and 49 in Good condition.
Onondaga County according to the State has 4 Poor, 68 Fair, 44 Good and Oswego County 17 Poor, 64 Fair, 43 Good
