Syracuse Man Arrested After Domestic Incident And Brief Standoff

Town of Onondaga, N.Y. - A Syracuse man arrested after stand off with State Police.

Around 4:30 Tuesday Troopers were called to 125 Everingham Road in the town of Onondaga for a report of a domestic incident.

They learned that 21 year old Keidrick Wilson threatened a person with a gun during an argument. He then barricaded himself inside the house.

After a short standoff and discussion with a Crisis Negotiator and Special Operations Response Team, Wilson voluntarily exited the residence and was taken into custody.

Wilson was charged with Menacing 2nd degree (class “A” misdemeanor) and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th degree (class “A” misdemeanor).

New York State Police executed a Criminal Search Warrant of the residence, and a Temporary Extreme Risk Protection Order was filed under the state’s Red Flag Law.
