Rochester Woman Charged With Attempted Murder After Shooting In Oswego

Oswego, N.Y. - A Rochester woman has been arrested on attempted murder charges in Oswego.

Around 2 Sunday morning, Police say 24-year-old Brianna Sneed got into an argument outside a bar on Bridge Street in Oswego, during which she fired multiple shots, one of which struck a man.

Sneed fled the scene before police arrived.

Police tracked her down to an apartment in the area, and after a one and half hour standoff, Sneed was taken into custody.

The victim is expected to recover.

Sneed faces the following charges:

  • Attempted murder in the 2nd degree a class B felony
  • Assault in the 1st degree a class B felony
  • Criminal use of a firearm a class B felony
  • Criminal possession of a weapon in the 2nd degree a class C felony
  • Reckless endangerment in the 1st degree a class D felony
