On Saturday, November 4th, the Syracuse University College of Law is teaming up with Volunteer Lawyers Project of CNY, Inc. & Hancock Estabrook to provide free legal assistance to veterans. The yearly event called “Valor Day” is held at the CNY Veterans Parade and Expo at the NYS Fairgrounds. Law School Students from the Betty and Michael D. Wohl Veterans Legal Clinic will assist local attorneys in providing a host of legal services. Veterans and their family members may make an appointment for free wills and power of attorneys. Veterans may also meet with attorneys for consultations in a wide range of legal issues like Family Law, Veterans Law, Tenant’s Rights, Debt, Real Estate and Housing. This yearly event provides critical legal assistance to those who have served our nation.
