UPDATE: Onondaga County Sheriff’s Deputies have identified the driver as Joseph Chaufty Jr. of Liverpool.
Liverpool, N.Y. - A 75-year-old has died after suffering a medical event while driving yesterday in Liverpool.
Onondaga County Sheriff’s Deputies say the man and his passenger were traveling North on Oswego Road when the 75-year-old swerved, crossing two culverts and crashing against a tree.
The Passenger was able to walk away with no injuries, however, the driver had to be extricated and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
