Dewitt, N.Y. - A woman was arrested for arson and other charges yesterday after DeWitt Police say she sent her hotel room on fire.
Police were called to the Extended Stay America motel where a fire had broke out in a room on the 3rd floor.
An investigation lead to Alicia McGinnis and it was determined she purposely set her room on fire.
No one was injured, the room heavily damaged.
McGinnis was charged with Arson 2nd Degree, Criminal Mischief 4th Degree & Reckless Endangerment 2nd Degree.
She was arraigned and taken to the Onondaga County Justice Centeron No Bail.
