Syracuse, N.Y. - Congressman Brandon Williams will be absent from Washington D.C. for the next couple of days.
Representative Williams announced that he will need to have some minimally invasive surgical procedures done this week.
The timing will cause him to miss his first series of votes since being elected in NY-22.
Williams said he anticipates being back in DC within a few days.
