Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse Police Department confirms shots were fired at Destiny USA mall this afternoon.
They say it happened near the Cinnabon locations.
All people at the mall were ordered to shelter in place for a time. It was never an active shooter situation and police say the suspect fled before they arrived.
Police say there are no known injuries.
The mall will be evacuated and will close for the evening.
