Albany, N.Y. - Governor Kathy Hochul today, announcing that she will push to change state law to increase the minimum age for some firearms.
Hochul speaking at the meeting of the Interstate Task Force on Illegal guns aid said “at minimum” she wants to restrict people under the age of 21 to buy an AR-15. She noted that the shooters in Buffalo and Texas were both 18.
Hochul says there is “outrage and disgust” after the mass shooting in Texas. “We must harness that outrage and disgust,” Hochul said.
She chocked up when she said, "Am I supposed to just leave the flags at half staff?
