Syracuse, N.Y. - Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon releasing COVID data today.
The 3 day total of lab positives was 849, 59 of them coming from Syracuse University.
There were 240 at home test positives.
There are 96 residents in the hospital, 35 of whom tested positive, but are in for other ailments and there are 10 residents in the ICU.
One more person did die an 80 year old man with underlying conditions.
Due to the large number of positive cases on their campus, Syracuse University announced that the masking level will return to the "BLUE" level starting tomorrow. For all students, faculty and staff masks will be required at all times, in classes and in buildings.
