Syracuse, N.Y. - One woman is dead and another woman is fighting for her life after a fire in Syracuse
Syracuse Police and Fire responded to 229 Fenway Drive Saturday night, for a house fire.
Firefighters rescued 34 year old Akira Alford, 62 year old Yolanda Alford form the burning home.
Akia Alford was transported to the Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Yolanda Alford remains in critical condition.
Fire investigators have determined the blaze was accidental and caused by unattended incense that was burning on a porch.
