Town of Palermo, N.Y - Oswego County Sheriffs have arrested the parents of boy after their neglect contributed to his death.
In May of 2021, police responded to a home in the Town of Palermo for a 17 year old boy with cerebral palsy who was unresponsive.
The boy, who was found to be severely underweight, with bedsores covering a large part of his body, was pronounced dead at hospital.
After an investigation the manner or death was listed as homicide, caused in part by infection and malnutrition.
The mother and stepfather, Lisa and Anthony Waldron, now face charges of Manslaughter, Criminally Negligent Homicide and Endangering the Welfare of an Incompetent or Physically Disabled Person.
