Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse Police arrested 3 people after catching them in a stolen vehicle with weapons and drugs.
Police saw a stolen vehicle with three people inside and went to stop it. The vehicle drove away striking a police car.
During the pursuit, a loaded firearm was tossed from the vehicle along with numerous amounts of drugs.
At one point, 24 year old Davon O'neal jumped out and ran. He was caught.
The vehicle finally came to a stop and the remaining two, 22 year old Rasir Baker and a 15 year old who was the driver, tried to run but they were caught.
The teen had a loaded handgun on him when arrested. It was the second time in 11 days the teen had been arrested while in possession of gun.
The three face a variety of charges.
Davon O'neal arrested and charged with:
- Two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the second degree a class C felony,
- Two counts of Criminal Possession of a firearm a class E felony,
- Criminal possession of a Weapon in the third degree a class D felony,
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree a class B felony, two counts of PL-
- Criminal Possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree a class A misdemeanor,
- Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle a class A misdemeanor.
Rasir Baker arrested and charged with:
- Two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the second degree a class C felony,
- Two counts of Criminal Possession of a firearm a class E felony,
- Criminal possession of a Weapon in the third degree a class D felony,
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree a class B felony, two counts of PL-
- Criminal Possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree a class A misdemeanor,
- Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle a class A misdemeanor.
15-year-old male arrested and charged with:
- Two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the second degree a class C felony
- Two counts Criminal Possession of a firearm a class E felony
- Criminal possession of a Weapon in the third degree a class D felony
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree a class B felony
- Two counts Criminal Possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree a class A misdemeanor
- Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle a class A misdemeanor.
