Syracuse, N.Y. - Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon has announced a new initiative that he hopes helps residents enjoy more of the outdoors.
The "February Freebies" program offers discounts at both Highland Forest County Park and Beaver Lake Nature Center. McMahon says with the cost of just about everything rising these days, he wants to make sure local parks remain affordable for families.
