Albany, N.Y. - SUNY has a new interim Chancellor
The State University of New York Board of Trustees has named current SUNY Oswego President Deborah Stanley as interim chancellor.
Stanley already had announced she was stepping down this month as the 10th President of SUNY OSWEGO.
The SUNY Board said they'll be launching a global search in January for the permanent Chancellor.
This comes after SUNY Chancellor Jim Malatras resigned amid outrage over his smearing of one of former Gov Cuomo's accusers and accusations about the toxic work environment he created.
