Syracuse, N.Y. - Onondaga County Sheriffs have made a big bust after arresting a Syracuse man for dealing drugs.
Deputies arrested Eluciano Pinet-Parrilla on an arrest warrant for the sale of drugs. When they arrested him they found 244 baggies of fentanyl on him. When detectives executed a search warrant at his home on Westmoreland Avenue, they discovered approximately a pound of fentanyl and two loaded handguns. The search of several storage garages uncovered about $290,000 cash, 33,000 bags of fentanyl/heroin which amounted to over 3 pounds and another illegal gun.
Pinet-Parrilla was arrested on the arrest warrant for two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree and two counts of criminal possession of controlled substance in the 3rd degree, two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree. In addition to those charges, PinetParrilla was also charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 1st degree, two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree, two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree, two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the 3rd degree, and two counts of criminal possession of a firearm. He was arraigned on October 5th in Centralized Arraignment Court and is currently being held on bail set at $100,000 cash $200,000 bond.
The investigation is continuing and additional arrests are expected.
