Syracuse Police Make Quick Work Of Tracking Down Bank Robber

Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse police made quick work of a bank robbery today.

Officers responded to the M&T Bank on Grant Boulevard around 2 and were told a man walked into the bank handed the teller a note demanding cash. He then fled on foot.

A theft recovery device was activated and a quick arrest was made.

A short time later 33 year old John Sackett of Syracuse was caught with 11 grand on his person.
