Town of Western, N.Y. - A Rome man is dead after his motorcycle slammed into the back of an SUV.
State Police say around 5 last night , an SUV was traveling north on Route 46 when it was about to take a left turn onto Main Street in the Town of Western.
Witnesses reported 67 year old Mehdi Tayefeh had begun to pass multiple vehicles in a no-passing zone that slowed due to the SUV making a left-hand turn and slammed into the back of the SUV.
Tayefeh was pronounced dead at the hospital.
