Dewitt, N.Y. - The DeWitt Police Department arrested a Syracuse man for armed robbery.
Yesterday morning around 11:30 police say, 29 year old Davonte Gainey entered a massage parlor, on Kirkville Road, held a handgun to an employee’s head and stole money from the business and the victim’s cell phone. The victim was not injured.
Police found Gainey at his home and and after interviewing him he admitted to the robbery.
Police found a CO2 pellet pistol and proceeds from the robbery in his home.
He was arrested and faces robbery and criminal mischief charges.
