Syracuse, N.Y. - Officials at Syracuse University say the Carrier Dome is making the transition to cashless payments at all events.
That means people can only make their purchases using their credit or debit cards or apps such as Apple Pay, Android Pay and Google Wallet. The school says this decision is aimed at preventing the spread of COVID-19 and also to help streamline process of buying concessions and merchandise.
Previously it was announced that only mobile ticketing will be used for all athletic contests this coming season.
