Syracuse, N.Y. - A Syracuse man involved in the fatal Rye Day shooting going to prison for 17 years.
Devar Williams accepted a plea deal, pleading guilty to first-degree manslaughter and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He’ll spend between two and four years in prison for manslaughter charge and 15 years in prison for the illegal gun.
Williams was part of a wild shooting incident at large party last summer that claimed the life of 17-year-old Chariel Osorio and injured nine others.
