Onondaga County has joined the growing list of areas where mask use indoors is being suggested by the CDC.
The county has been deemed a place where the spread of COVID-19 is considered substantial. The CDC is recommending all residents wear a facial covering inside regardless of their vaccination status. Experts believe the rise in new cases is connected to the highly contagious Delta variant.
