Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer says New York is at risk of losing billions of dollars in federal relief funds.
Over $2 billion was set aside to help out both tenants and landlords struggling due to the pandemic. Schumer said he has sent a letter to the state Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance, urging officials to speed up distribution of that money before the U.S Treasury can reallocate those funds in September.
