Former Congressman Brindisi To Run For NYS Supreme Court

Utica, N.Y. - It is expected that former Congressman Anthony Brindisi will announce he is running for New York State Supreme Court.

He's holding a news conference at 1 o'clock at the Oneida County Courthouse. He's already said he does not want to run for Congress again.

Brindisi started his political career as a State Assemblyman for the 119th district back in 2011.

He stayed in that position until 2018 when he ran for Congress beating congresswoman Claudia Tenney.

Then this past November, Brindisi lost his re-election bid to Tenney after a long-drawn-out vote count.
