UPDATE: 6/24 10:20am Syracuse Police have identified the victim as 15-year-old Nykim Young
One person is dead following a shooting in Syracuse.
Police say that the male victim was shot in the head around 6:30 last night near the Creekwalk at Lower Onondaga Park. The unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Family members say that the victim was 15 years old, but police have not confirmed that information.
