Former President Donald Trump is calling on Republicans in the 24th Congressional District to find a candidate to challenge Congressman John Katko in 2022.
Trump sent a letter to the Onondaga County Conservative Party, saying he would back whoever faces Katko in a primary. Katko was one of several Republicans who voted earlier this year to impeach Trump after violent protests at the U.S. Capitol left several people dead.
