The Syracuse City Common Council is proposing new legislation to curb illegal dirt bike and ATV usage.
Councilors are looking to impose fines on those caught riding the vehicles in the city, and adding misdemeanor charges for repeat offenders. The Common Council hopes to pass the measure soon, so that it can be enforced throughout the summer.
