State Police say the man who shot and injured a Trooper has been captured near Binghamton.
Officers spent most of Thursday trying to track down Jason Johnson before finding him in Colesville, near Binghamton. Officials say he engaged in a shootout with police after they went to a residence Wednesday night for a welfare check. One bullet ended up hitting Trooper Becky Seager in the hip.
