Oswego Mayor Billy Barlow has announced a proposal to redesign part of a major street in the city.
A portion of East First Street between East Bridge and East Cayuga Streets would reduce traffic from four lanes to two, and would create diagonal parking spaces along the road. If approved, work on the project would begin in June.
