Three people were sent to the hospital Monday following a series of violent incidents in Syracuse.
Police responded to a shooting on the city's Eastside just before 3 in the afternoon. The victim was found with a gunshot wound to the neck.
Around the same time, a stabbing was reported in another part of the Eastside neighborhood. A woman was transported to the hospital with wounds to her midsection and arms. Police later arrested a suspect, 57 year old Stephen Stone.
Police also responded to a second stabbing around 5:15 on the city's Westside. A man was found with wounds to his midsection. Officers later arrested 27 year old Shaquille Thomas in connection with the incident.
