The Catholic Diocese of Syracuse has announced plans to merge two of their schools.
St. Margaret's Elementary School and St. Rose of Lima Elementary School will consolidate their resources at the end of this school year. St. Margaret's will not reopen in September. The diocese says the decision was made due to declining enrollment and financial issues.
