High risk school sports have been allowed to resume games and practices, but confusion reigns as to whether or not fans will be allowed to watch.
Most local high school conferences, including the Salt City Athletic Conference and the Onondaga High School League, won't allow any fans due to public health concerns. Some counties, including Oswego and Oneida, have also announced they will not allow spectators.
Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon is expected to release guidance today about possibly allowing 2 fans per player. However, he has said that ultimately, it's up to the schools to decide if they want fans to attend games.
