UPDATE: Syracuse Police say the victim, 25-year-old Asalic Parham has died from the injuries he sustained in the shooting.
One person has been injured in an overnight shooting.
Syracuse Police say that shots were heard on the city's Southside around 1:45 near Ballantyne Rd. Officials say that one person was shot in the chest, and was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
