UPDATE: The victim in last night's shooting has been identified as 21 years old Ptolemy Droz, of Syracuse.
One person is dead following an overnight shooting on Syracuse's Southside.
Police responded to the area of Clyde Ave around 8:45 after shots were heard. Officers arrived to find a car crashed near a home, with the driver dead from a gunshot wound to the head. The 21 year old male victim has not been identified.
