Onondaga County has seen its deadliest day since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
County Executive Ryan McMahon said Wednesday that 18 more residents have passed away after contracting the virus. That means 91 of the 332 total deaths connected to the illness have been reported since December started. The number of new coronavirus infections has also risen by 297.
