2020 Nor'easter Hammers Southern Tier With Over 3 Feet Of Snow

The first major snowstorm of the season continuing to drop snow across CNY and the rest of the state.

While areas surrounding Onondaga County are seeing about 2-4 inches on the ground Thursday morning, snowfall totals are up dramatically in the Southern Tier. Binghamton and the surrounding areas have reported over three feet of snow.

Broome and Chenango Counties have both enacted travel bans, and a travel advisory is in effect for Cortland County.

At least one fatality has been reported as a result of slick conditions on the roads.

A tractor trailer rolled over on the Thruway WB near Canastota around 1:45 Thursday morning. The driver was killed, and more details on the crash are expected later today.
