A woman fatally stabbed late last week has been identified.
Investigators say that 36 year old Franchelli Almonte had driven a friend to help pick up her daughter Friday night. The daughter's boyfriend allegedly wouldn't let her leave his apartment. The suspect then threw a brick through the back window of Almonte's vehicle, and fatally stabbed Almonte when she confronted him. The suspect, a 17 year old male, remains at large and has not been identified.
