Concerns are growing within the Syracuse City School District over possible cuts.
The district proposed the layoffs and furloughs in an effort to save money lost during the coronavirus pandemic. The Syracuse Teacher's Association held a poll after the proposal was announced Tuesday, but the results of that poll will not be made public. SCSD is looking at three different plans in order to offset $8 million in cuts from the state.
