Town of Clay, N.Y. - Onondaga County Sheriff’s investigating a fatal industrial accident
The accident happened at the National Grid facility in the Town of Clay.
Deputies say an employee of a contracted company was assisting with loading steel support beams onto a flatbed trailer when the load shifted, causing the beams to fall off the trailer and onto the employee. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No word on the identity of the victim
