Onondaga County has announced its highest number of new coronavirus cases since the start of the pandemic.
There were 70 additional infections reported Wednesday, with 50 of them connected to community spread. Right now, 29 people are hospitalized for treatment of the virus with five of them in intensive care. Over the last few months, there have been more than five-thousand confirmed COVID-19 cases in Onondaga County.
