Albany, N.Y. - SUNY Chancellor Jim Malatras announcing a new campus-wide coronavirus policy.
Students cannot leave for Thanksgiving break until they test negative for coronavirus.
They will need to be tested within 10 days of leaving campus to prevent the spread of the virus when they head home.
Most SUNY schools are not planning to bring back students after the break, in order to prevent additional outbreaks.
