A Syracuse Police Detective has died from injuries sustained during a tragic accident.
Det. William LaShomb was found unconscious on a boat on Oneida Lake last month. Investigators believe that he and passenger Blair Dodge became sickened due to a carbon monoxide leak. Dodge was pronounced dead at the scene. Det. LaShomb was a 13 year veteran of the SPD.
