Police continue their investigations into two separate accidents involving cars into homes.
Around 5:45 yesterday afternoon, DeWitt police say a vehicle was hit by an SUV on East Yates St. The crash sent the first car into a home at the intersection of Hartwell Ave.
Two hours later, Cicero police responded to a similar call on Route 298. Police believe the driver was distracted by their phone, then fled the scene following the accident. The home's foundation was damaged as a result.
