Oriskany, N.Y. - An Oneida County grand jury has indicted a man for aggravated vehicle homicide in relation to a fatal December 22nd accident.
Richard Burdick Jr. was driving his pick-up truck northbound on State Route 12b in the Town of Kirkland, when he struck a car being driven by 66 year old David Pearsall.
Pearsall, was pronounced dead at the scene and his wife Lorie Persall suffered injuries but survived. David Purcell was a well liked fire captain with the Morrisville Fire Department.
Burdick's Blood Alcohol level was determined to be higher than .18
