A new report puts a number to the COVID-19 patients who were discharged from hospitals to nursing homes in New York.
A count by The Associated Press puts that number at more than 43-hundred.
The state health department has not put out its own count, saying the numbers are still being verified.
The discharges took place under a health department directive issued March 25. Governor Cuomo reversed the order May 10 after critics said it was spreading the virus to vulnerable nursing home residents.
