Rochester, N.Y. - Wegmans employees will have to undergo wellness checks before being allowed to begin their shifts.
The supermarket chain says workers will have to answer a few questions and have their temperatures taken. Anyone with a temperature of at least 100 degrees will be sent home for the day with pay. Wegmans also recently announced it was limiting the number of customers allowed in its stores at one time.
The company says it's trying to do its part to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
